Material
Our handcrafted Bird Feeders are constructed from high-quality kiln dried white cedar wood, known for its durability and natural resistance to weather and insects. Cedar is not treated with any sealants making it safe for birds to feed from. The roof is weather treated with exterior stain to further protect the feeder from the elements. We use all stainless steel fasteners to prevent rust and corrosion streaks.

Design
Designed with vinyl coated wire that allows birds to freely pull sunflower seeds or peck out pieces of nuts from between each wire. Feeder also dispenses food at base where seed and nuts are free to take. Base has angled wood to hold the food on the feeder and to accommodate larger birds with the additional edge of gripping surface for birds to cling. Grip Grooves every 1/2 inch up the sides allows for birds to easily navigate from side to side and is ideal for attracting woodpeckers and birds that cling. The two-sided wire mesh encourages birds to feed from both sides allowing multiple birds feeding at once.

Refill
Holds black oil sunflower seeds and any nuts that are out of the shell. Peanuts are a favorite of all birds! Also comes with a scoop to make refilling easy from the top of the feeder. Food can be refilled while still hanging.

Specialty Nut Note
Any sort of nuts can be used in these feeders as long as they are out of the shell. Almonds, walnuts, pistachios, cashews, pecans, or any other nuts you prefer to feed can be used. Even if they are bigger pieces the birds will peck at them through the wire to get bites then when they are small enough they pull them out.

Mounting
This hanging bird feeder comes with a heavy duty coated steel eye hook that won't rust for easy hanging, making it perfect for any Shepards Hook that prevents spinning to always have the feeder facing your window for optimal viewing of both sides. Also comes with a scoop to make refilling easy from the top of the feeder. Food can be refilled while still hanging.
